Having realized projects on the systems of various hardware companies and however it is an independent company, Bilişim Ltd has also been collaborating with national and international System Integrating companies at project level in a cooperative environment.

Bilişim Ltd undertook projects supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP/UNOPS) and the World Bank (IBRD) through international competition and concluded them successfully.

Bilişim Ltd tended to develop its own software products initially in client/server environment on Windows, Linux, Unix operating systems and later in multi-tier architecture environment on Internet (web) and then carried its accumulation of application software over to J2EE platforms, appropriately to the open system environment. For this purpose, Bilişim Ltd has been continuing its tradition of developing application software for nation-wide projects through its expert staff, equipped with the latest and strongest possibilities of the contemporary technology.

Prof. Dr. Aydın Köksal, the founder and the Managing Director of Bilişim Ltd has been a pioneer in all stages of the development of the profession of information, from the generation of the Turkish equivalents of about 2.500 information terms, such as computer, hardware, software, information processing, informatics, etc to the foundation of the Turkish Society for Information (TBD), from the establishment of the first service centers in the field of information to the initiation of computer (sciences) engineering studies at doctoral and bachelor levels and to the association of the first companies which have formed the kernel of the software industry at the application software level.

As a Business Partner of ORACLE since 1992, Bilişim Ltd has also been continuing software production on the Oracle platform. Bilişim Ltd was awarded the "Best Business Partner in 1999-2000 Sales Period" prize in 2000 and the "Best e-Business Management Systems Integrating Solution" prize in 2001 by ORACLE.
